John Doe Cho 2 Empathize or Vilify?

More tears than rain

Sometimes it seems there's no vacancy in the city of sadness

I didn't want to touch this one till some time had passed but i have a lot of other things to get on to .. Relevancy waits for no one. We all can understand what it's like to be ridiculed or feel ostracized so there is often a moment in which good people ask was he reliving Carrie?
At first I may have felt just a slight bit sorry for cho but as the details of the assault and murders poured in Things like chained doors The lengthy wait to secure two legal weapons his desire to share with the world juvenile and narcissist thoughts The unabatting yet farcical violent demeanor diminished my empathy for the lad

For the families of the Virginia Tech you have our blessing and deepest sympathies. One boy reminds me of myself in high school and camp and secondary school where I was typically the only one or one of the few colored students who integrated schools and camps without malice to my whiter or richer peers.

Back 2 School

I had valuable gifts too endowments and advantages that are often tainted by privilege . The kind that don't get listed on magazines or discussed in TV commentary like ambition integrity authority and trust and the knowledge that my perspective wasn't the only one an insular perspective.

Perspective is like a the preparation of a semi simple meal every body can a make cheese toast with toppings but your toast with toppings will taste horrible if you never sampled or heard of or seen or were interested in any one else's toast..

Cho you were never interested in anyone else perspective about socializing and that led you to have a warped perspective .. Cho since you never sampled anyone else's toast since you never learned explicitly how one makes toast your toast was nasty... How do you know your own toast is nasty you have to sample others. therein lies the incentive to socialize even if it's something you don't initially have a knack for .

I'm sure there were a lot of students who felt awkward or out of sort at that school. socialize with other toast makers with chefs,.. If you were too scared to do that read textbooks reference books on the topics that will help you resolve any shortcoming and increase your courage . . everyone's not going to be first hand on socializing .

Just like others struggle with literature.
However cho I will not contribute to making you a star in a few weeks and a few dozen blog entries I won't remember you (hell I don't remember who I was fornicating with a few weeks ago) But right now after zipping through your play and going over the details of your massacre
I have just about lost all sympathy for you and other Isolated types (yes my empathy basket spilleth over) The students and teachers list examples in which they try to reach out to you. You should not have rejected them simply because they were different . It was the same premise you assumed they rejected you under.

You may have perpetuated your own isolation . The paralyzing fear evolved in to a paranoid cynicism However that paranoia led you to murder or try to murder scores of potential youth
Of course I can forgive you but now you have to earn it. This behavior will not be rewarded Cho If you thought those kids were mean.. you have no F@#$@$^ing idea how mean kids can be When I was in gradeschool (public school PS 9726976) we had this young asian lad. he was fantastic a dancer outgoing and quit witted. But when he first used to dance n performances for school parties etc. They would call out "chicken fried rice egg foo young hitachi sony whats goin on." (a tad racist no?) You know he would just dance harder and he loved it . Soon after he hung out with guys most thugs were afraid to hang out with (and he had his own song!remarkable rememberable) and bless him he was one of the true stars Ive seen get no love in this culture .. But he got love in PS 9726976

First you have to endure teasing from me Cho.. Did I mention I'm from the Bronx?. I'm not as blunt elementary students but I get the job done. I would like to begin by saying everything the students in his class could have said but didn't after reading Cho's plays.
Cho's plays

Cho's plays
This is also a perfect SNL or Mad TV skit though it may be way to soon to do it.
The scene takes place on the day when Cho is reading his very bizarre "plays" to the rest of his collegiate class .. So right after cho reads the plays. The class goes round robin to discuss it

Meg the Deep : I just have to say "john" the recurring character seems to suffer constant devastation and for no reason purpose knowledge reward resolution or understanding

Tad the Man : Cho I know you were aiming for horror or scary but I found it quite the comedy. Good job. Especially since you use the term "ass-rape" rather liberally. I love to hear about a bloody good ass rape

teacher: next please!

Jan Smart: I think there's space between "MC" and beef in mc beef
Dan the man 2: I thought the play was a comedy too "ass rape" what a clever way to utilize shock ? especially when it's employed 80 times in a row. The funniest part is when "john" first states he has "suffered" an ass rape for using an insult against his teacher. Then the other character seems only interested in the nature of the insult ? what was the bad name again? meanwhile as the observer I'm thinking: what was that about ass rape part again? Hilarious. good job bro

SoniaWont Boneya: I must refer to the passage where in john tells his stepfather that he will not be raped". But then he lists an assortment of qualifiers .. he states explicitly that he "will not be raped by an "old balding fat stepfather" .. So will he raped by a thin muscular hairy stepfather?

teacher: we can come back to that later

jack is proud : perhaps sonya "John" is using rape to excuse away his obvious gayness..If someone were raped as an adolescent then in general people tend to sympathise with his or her gayness.no?

Kara IsOffended: Is there an audience for a play that is so revealing in terms of the lack of tact with which the author infuses anal rape into the otherwise plotless parables?
