Immigration Resistance is Relative and based on a language culture War

It's all relative
immigration is an issue that is completely relative in fact it all depends on where your standing at any given moment



Immigration on New York City
Xplicitman is the only alien to recognize that Native New Yorkers are one of the only native
population completely locked out from Economic and Political power( aboriginees,palestians
Israelis) I can't think of any other city in the world were the native population has been
so disenfranchised..

Do native born new yorkers go to Boise or Boston and get the best jobs and political
influence fresh out of college that will alter the culture of Boise Boston Idaho or Anaheim
or Paris etc.

How many Native Born New York citizens work in Midtown or Wall Street City Hall
jobs really as a proportion of all workers in
competitive positions ?

so if you a native born Mexican American New Yorker you may have every right to feel
systematically disenfranchised by blacks white and other latinos from other states who land
here and get better jobs better housing and more control and say over whether clubs stay
open or bars serve liquor or whether you need liscence to dance in cabaret venues or whether
art is offensive ect.

This dynamic has demolished the new york nightlife it created the South Bronx ghetto and it
ruined Penn station for all those old enough to remember




Language

lets start with real life experiences

1. Once I was on the train I NYC and I heard this Black couple mocking this group of Latinos sitting across from them .. they were teasing the phonetics and speed and remarking on how rude it was to speak in another language in public .. which i don't know if that is the rudest thing since i use my favorite spanish and french words and phrases with
out really noticing when i talk with other multi lingual friends

but in just a few stops the Blacks left the train and the very same latinos now found themselves sitting accross from a group of middle eastern passengers who
began to speak in their native Arabic language. Soon the Latino group was mocking In Spanish the phonetics
and syllables in Arabic commenting on how rude it was to speak Arabic publicily on the train..



there is a war going on between languages. It's a war waged by self centrists who have a
shortsighted view of their own ancestry and little regard to others sacrifices and desire
to be apart from the US culture but apart of American prosperity ..


Then on mothers day I also saw
Other Latinos behaving in a patronizing and condescending to Mexican mom selling flowers with the assistance of her two beautiful children on Mothers day In The Bronx and i heard those children speak
English like the were from 90210



the second generation
I say this because i honestly think
nothing will keep these kids and many others from speaking English and being fully apart of the US social fabric

2. i dated a Spanish professor at a prostigious college (I have trouble with spanish conjugations) who admitted to me that he was anxious to see the day that all of America spoke spanish. I wanted to discover his emotional connection to the spanish language as he hails from South America an d looks more Native American than spanish .
He explained to me that much of his pride in the spanish language came from the fact that Columbus and Spain discovered America..and so America should speak Spanish. He also felt confident that a Spanish speaking US was inevitiable.
" You cant stop the catholics they don't know birth control"

I did mention the fact that a black colony (by the way this colony was annihilated by the incomming native americans..anyone see a pattern about this land or is it just me? ) and besides a few fossils there are very few genetic relatives alive today. This colony was located on the southern tip of South America nearly 15,000 years before native Americans emigrated from the ice bridge into Canada . I mentioned the Viking Polynesian and African artifacts and pottery that were discovered In the Americas that predate Columbus' voyage . I also reminded him that Latin culture began in greece and rome that they were recognized as far bigger contributers and influences to western civilization. (Democracy,Philosophy,Aqueducts,Automated Mechanics,Theater,the first ancient computer/calculator) Why had he no cultural identification with those empires which dominated the world far longer than Britain or the US


it seemed his historical identification began around the 1400's . I thanked him for his perspective


Real
consider native born Californian gays who had their marriage dreams smited by an Immigrant
governor on the same day that native Governor Mcgreevey "Ideal" marriage was proved a result
of accommodating societal discrimination


First lets get some red herrings out of the way ..People really aren't concerned that there
are illegal immigrants from Canada or Algeria for that matter because neither is having a
profound affect on our culture .. so I wont even waste another text on that.

its not just about security because we are not trying to spray fire over our Canada border


It's a change in Culture that scares Americans the language then the attitude toward
government and religion

However sizable imports of any culture that varies substantially from our own regarding
language religion etcetera will have a tremendous affect on the country



Economics
The argument that using people as indentured servants for jobs Americans wont do is almost too
disgustingly unethical and immoral for me to adequately respond to

but savage I'll beat you through it slowly for the sake for virtue

first it diminishes wages overall to have a sub population of worker..

all that wage growth and
cheap slavery right?


Or how about the fact that many americans and immigrants will work for a living wage if provided the
opportunity and information


Political Impact
Long standing policies have to be re-examined with major demographic changes for example are the new catholic immigrant Americans going to be as keen on funding the
removal of Israeli settlers to the tune of several billions of dollars more than
we send all of Africa and South America combined ?
will there be increased or decreased incentive to isolate Cuba
or invite Puerto Rico
to Rattle Russia or Befriend Britain


what are there priorities regarding Civil and marriage rights for native homosexuals or
Opportunities for native blacks and native americans considering how darker skinned people are treated in their origin
and native lands? Darker blacks face discrimination even in Africa

cant catch a cab in NYC well chances are it isn't a white guy behind the wheel




many Immigrants do read the new york post and listen to Rush Limbaugh and the
neanderthal gang


many are artists and inventors and hard working with unique perspectives and interests


are they accustomed to challenging and scrutinizing their elected officials the cornerstone
of a successful democracy?
are naitve US citizens?
But do they feel entitled and committed to rights many lost lives for
im starting to believe religious and language ethno-assimilation makes Blacks Jews and others feel like empowered Judeo-Christains

many minorities and majorities in this country don't feel the entitlement and empowerment necessary to
affect changes for their communities and challenge abuse of authority in the first and final free bastion

language is the gateway to a new world I speak and write Spanish and French well enough to live in Spanish and French speaking
countries for several months at a time and what i find most exciting about staying in a
Spanish or French speaking country is that it feels like you are entering a new world on so many
levels .. it feel as though one is a traveler of cultural dimensions each unique distinct and
novel. But whether in Folles Pigalles Paris or Recife Brazil I never expected the natives in
those countries to accommodate me in english, although many other English speakers do.




the hustle

If you admit you' are here just for the money then you admit to having little regard for the
culture of the city and/or country . Which doesn't strike
any American as very noble.

but survival is noble


Consider the historical implications of the US rushing to "Help" Iraq and "save them"
while Mexican Americans risking death and disease trying to escape a life of destitution ..
Has anyone considered how that is going to look from a divine distance?


The US prevents Mexico from making money when the Mexican legislature consider legalizing marijuana which would substantially increase their tourism and tax revenue considering
the very large percentage of Americans canadians and Europenas who consume or admit to consuming the drug illegally in the US where it's demonized in between Beer Vioxx and Trim Spa commercials

However our Free market Rugged Individualism Capitalistic Savior government threatens the Mexican government with sanctions. Yet remember
alcohol and toxic prescriptions and Mel Gibson are ok?


I have to write down some of these insane regulations on my hand so i dont forget .
Mexico should not have to pretend like it doesn't see our hands covering our eyes
Peek. If legalizing week prevent families from embarking on a deadly journey through the desert then a few high Americans on vacation is probably worth the lives spared .


Why not try to strengthen those democracies instead of letting our hubris turn them away

Too Personal?

believe God has bigger plans for all of us that extend past what we can do for our
race/ethnicity.. we need to make communication stream-less for the sake of humanity and evolution and not
difficult for the sake of shallow adolescent identification methods

i just think we should strike deliberate balance on how much time we spend loving in and out

From what i see there is a loss in translations
french movies spanish novelas don't convey the same experience in english and vice versa

The Spanish language is not on any endangered list ..there will always be a spanish speaking country
i dont know if bilingual Multi lingual america or chinese majority america (very possible with an open door immigration policy- consistency is only fair no?)

think it would be the same I dont think it would easy to have the same communicative socially integrative evolvement
and live in four language societies and if the motive behind it is lack of
interest in the culture then either the culture is failing or the law is failing

chinese stores from fulton street to 128 street . where would Mrs Gomez daughter find work?
To some extent that's expected in New York but in Austin?

I Just Died

I don't know if there are accurate words to describe spiritual events but this is worth the effort

Right before bed one night I casually asked God what it would feel like to die . I figured since i wasn't on my knees God would ignore me much like my repeated requests to fly using my arms or procreate with Alyssa Milano like i do in my dreams

i was simply curious and since i wasn't on my knees at the time i thought god wouldn't give me a second thought


but as i laid down on my comforter a strange thing happened and it was unlike any other near death experience Ive ever read or heard about


the heat emanating from earth (which I had never noticed before) below became cool and the cool of gravity(which I had never noticed before) above became warm and my soul "fell" out of my skin chasing the warmth ..

this change occured as fast as a passing breeze

but when the earth got cold the gravity got hot this combined reversal of temperature and gravity was sudden and yet not disorienting and then Gravity was reversed
my soul fell up toward the heat that was now coming from above and not from earth ..

afraid I wanted to stay with my body but I was amazed to find that my physique was maintained .. I could see my shoulder and arms a transparent grayish blue but still My new transparent body kept its shape and I could feel the heat of the gravity forcing my spirit directly up


it made me think that gravity our bodies and the heat beneath the earth are all connected


the reason why i say this experience was different than those i saw in movies in 80's and described countless books was that I did not get up and leave my body I fell out of my body. Much in the way someone might fall off a large building


it was not a motor function it was not a get up
my shoulders fell up head first and fast and then my shoulders and neck. the inertia was increasing

then for a moment i was a man with two heads the physical still on the pillow looking up without conscience. and the now grayish translucent form that could see and feel the heat of anti-gravity

while emboding this form I could still feel the warm pull of "anti-gravity"
but i didnt dare touch or try to grab anything and I dont know if i would have gone through my ceiling without feeling it.



before my chest and midsection started hurtling into the now warm space pulling from above


I was forcefully pushed back down from my forehead to finish my work here

a whisper "finish" completely my re-acclaimation .. emboldened by a purpose to complete.. but without much inherent power I still find it hard to believe i have anything substantial to contribute .. Why endow a nobody from nowhere with gifts or a purpose to take on a world that makes victims out of noblemen and kings out of villains. How can i do it alone when no one else that surrounds me seems interested?

unlike other astral or near death stories I've heard of
This was different in that my head and chest seemed to fall up it wasn't like i got up or down for that matter

my soul lost gravity and while my body remained bound by the laws of gravity my soul seemed allergic to it



I'm not playing around with that again there's still much ado to satisfy my curiosity right here on the earth . I have a feeling if i would have fallen too far it would have been difficult or impossible to re inhabit or locate my mortal skin

but I wasn't sad to die or very afraid once i saw my physical was intact (Brazilian butt jobs are expensive!)


i just wished I could have gotten to learn/know more about you before I was deported

In any case I'm not afraid of death anymore
